Training in the Lidcombe Program of Early Stuttering Intervention

The Lidcombe Program is an effective behavioural treatment for early stammering that children enjoy. The treatment is implemented by parents during a period of close consultation with the clinician. Research and clinical trials have shown The Lidcombe Program to reduce stuttering quickly to very low levels, in the short term and long term, when stuttering begins in the first few years of life.

Training comprises a two day workshop designed to cover the theory and practice of the program. A certificate of attendance will be presented on completion of the two days.

Training can only be provided by a member of the Lidcombe Program Trainers Consortium:

Workshops are run regularly Online and  can also be commissioned by NHS and Independent Providers of speech and language therapy.
