About Me
I am a Speech and Language Therapist and have been working with people who stammer for more than 25 years.
I have worked as a stammering specialist in a range of settings including the NHS, schools and Adult Education as well as Private Practice.
I am able to offer a range of stammering therapy approaches and have extensive experience of using the Lidcombe Program of Early Stuttering Intervention with young children. I am a member of the international Lidcombe Program Trainers Consortium training other speech and language therapists in this approach.
For much of my career, I have worked in London’s East End where I have had the opportunity to develop expertise in working with bilingual children who stammer.
I work part-time at City Lit, a national centre of excellence for stammering therapy for adults.
I am a visiting clinical tutor at City University for undergraduate students and am an experienced clinical supervisor for qualified speech and language therapists.
